| The Eiffel Tower We walked up over 2000 steps as the queue for the lifts were very long, halfway up was a cafe where we stopped for a drink and some lunch. We could not climb all the way to the top as only the lifts go that high, but half way still gave a very good view of Paris - see the pictures below...On the way up we saw some men painting the Tower but they were plastic dummies - French humour! (I did think they looked quite funny so I took some pictures of them too!) |
